Ph.D. Programme 2017- in Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT)
Applications are invited for Full Time Ph.D. Programme in the following departments of the Institute.
Departments : Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing & GIS, Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Material & Metallurgical Engineering (Material Science & Metallurgical Engineering), Chemical Engineering, Biological Science and Engineering, Architecture & Planning, Energy Center, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Application (MCA), Physics, Nano Science and Engineering Center, Chemistry, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Management Studies and Humanities and Social Science.
Eligibility : Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks (CGPA 6.5) and from a recognized University for Ph.D., in Management studies the candidate must have MBA degree or 2 years PGDM from MHRD/AICTE/UGC recognized Institute, Reservations are as per prevailing GOI norms. Candidate should have VALID GATE or NET qualification. For reserved category students i.e. SC/ST/PwD a relaxation of 5% (0.5 in CGPA) shall be given
Selection : Selection will be based on Entrance test conducted at Institute level. Short listed meritorious candidates will be eligible for Interview.
Teaching Assistantship: Selected candidate may be considered for teaching assistantship as Ph.D. ordinance and Institute norms.
