Ph.D. / Direct Ph.D. / M.S. (by Research) ADMISSION @ IIT MADRAS FOR JULY 2020
Candidates who have completed their U.G/P.G degree may apply now for July 2020 admission to M.S./Ph.D./Direct Ph.D. programme.
Candidates who are in their final semester/year of their U.G/P.G degree may apply now for July 2020 admission to M.S./Ph.D./Direct Ph.D. programme.
Please make sure to see the eligibility criteria in the admission brochure (SI. No. 4, 5 & 6 in Page No. 8 - 20) before applying. Candidates applying under External category for research programme may confirm whether the current organization/industry/institution in which you are working is having R & D recognition from IIT Madras or else certified by DST / DSIR. Candidates applying under Part-time category for research programme may confirm whether the current organization/industry/institution in which you are working is situated within commutable distance from IIT Madras.
For candidates applying under various categories of Research admission which requires sufficient work experience, the experience will be reckoned based on the last date for submission of online application. The work experience acquired after completion of the qualifying degree (i.e. U.G/P.G degree as per eligibility criteria) will be only considered as valid.
