Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:

Stock Receiving: Receive pharmaceutical products from suppliers and verify the quantity, quality, and expiration dates of products.

Stock Storage: Properly store pharmaceutical products, ensuring they are in the right conditions (temperature, humidity) and that all items are stored in an organized manner according to product categories (e.g., by type, expiration date).

Stock Rotation: Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to ensure that older stock is used or dispatched before newer stock to avoid product expiry.

Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring all products are accounted for and updating inventory systems as items are added, moved, or removed.

Stock Audits: Assist in regular stock audits and checks to ensure inventory matches physical stock.
2. Product Handling:

Packaging: Ensure that products are correctly packaged, labeled, and prepared for delivery or dispatch, following safety and regulatory guidelines.

Quality Control: Inspect the quality of pharmaceutical products upon receipt, ensuring they meet required safety standards and regulations. Report any damaged, expired, or faulty products.

Expiration Date Monitoring: Monitor product expiration dates and ensure that products nearing their expiration are flagged and used or disposed of accordingly.
3. Documentation and Reporting:

Documentation Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and receipts. Update and track inventory documentation as per company and legal requirements.

Order Processing: Assist in processing orders for pharmaceutical products, preparing them for distribution, and ensuring proper documentation for each order.

Stock Reports: Generate and provide regular reports on stock levels, product expiry, and stock movements to the supervisor or store manager.
4. Warehouse/Store Organization:

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that the store or warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards. This includes proper handling of hazardous pharmaceutical products.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring that the storage and handling of pharmaceutical products comply with industry regulations.

Equipment Management: Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and ensure equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition.
5. Communication and Coordination:

Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, store managers, or teams involved in the handling and dispatching of pharmaceutical products to ensure efficient and accurate operations.

Customer Assistance: In some cases, assist customers or internal teams with inquiries related to stock availability, delivery timelines, or order status.

Coordination with Suppliers: Assist in liaising with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve issues related to orders or stock discrepancies.
6. Health and Safety Compliance:

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products are handled in compliance with pharmaceutical storage and transportation regulations.

Safety Protocols: Follow workplace safety procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injury, especially when handling hazardous substances or chemicals.

Handling of Controlled Drugs: Ensure that controlled substances are handled in accordance with legal and company protocols, including appropriate documentation and access control.
