Experience: 1-3 years

Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist to manage dispensing, maintain inventory, and ensure proper handling of medications as per prescription and hospital guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor's prescription
Maintain stock, expiry, and reorder levels
Ensure proper storage and labeling of medicines
Maintain pharmacy records and billing
Guide patients on dosage, usage, and side effects (if needed)
Follow all regulatory and safety protocols
D. Pharma or B. Pharma with valid license
Minimum 1 year experience preferred
Knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices
Good communication and attention to detail
Required Skills and Competencies:
1. Pharmacological Knowledge:

Strong understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and therapeutic classes.

Familiarity with hospital formularies and protocols for high-alert medications.
2. Attention to Detail:

Accurate in reading prescriptions and preparing correct doses.

Strong focus on avoiding dispensing errors and ensuring patient safety.
3. Communication Skills:

Ability to explain medication instructions clearly to patients, even in stressful situations.

Good coordination with doctors, nurses, and support staff.
4. Technical Skills:

Competency in using pharmacy management software (like Mediware, Marg, or SAP-based systems).

Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic health records and generating reports.
5. Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage inventory and multiple prescriptions during peak hours.

Time management in balancing clinical duties, documentation, and patient counseling.
