Job Description
Job Summary:
Mediciti Medical Store, located in Madhura Nagar, is urgently hiring a Pharmacist to manage in-store sales and pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate must have strong system knowledge, a professional attitude, and be well-trained in both medication dispensing and retail pharmacy management.
This is an on-site role only – no work-from-home applications will be considered. We are looking for a reliable, smart, and customer-focused individual to ensure smooth daily functioning of the store.
Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescribed medications to customers accurately and with proper billing.

Manage sales at the counter using pharmacy software and POS systems.

Handle inventory: stock updates, expiry tracking, purchase entries, and stock ordering.

Provide correct information to customers regarding medicines, usage, dosage, and side effects.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.

Verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.

Ensure all regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed (e.g., drug license requirements).

Coordinate with suppliers, medical representatives, and doctors when required.

Assist in maintaining daily sales reports and store records.

Greet customers and ensure a positive and professional experience in-store.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree/certification is mandatory.

Must be a registered pharmacist with a valid license.

In-depth knowledge of medicines, drugs, and OTC products.

Computer literacy and experience using pharmacy billing software or inventory systems.

Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Ability to manage the counter independently.

Well-organized, responsible, and team-oriented.
