Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Generation and Revenue Growth

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned products and territory.

Visit retail and hospital pharmacies to generate orders, promote new products, and build business relationships.

Identify new sales opportunities by onboarding untapped pharmacies or dealers.

Follow up on leads, quotations, and orders to convert prospects into sales.
2. Customer Relationship Management

Maintain strong, professional relationships with pharmacists, chemists, store managers, and procurement officers.

Address customer concerns regarding stock availability, pricing, delivery timelines, and product details.

Resolve complaints quickly and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

Provide timely updates on product promotions, schemes, and seasonal discounts.
3. Product Promotion and Market Awareness

Educate clients about product features, benefits, indications, and usage guidelines.

Distribute product literature, brochures, samples, or promotional materials where applicable.

Gather and relay competitor information such as pricing, schemes, and new product launches.

Keep pharmacies updated with information on product availability and expiry dates.
4. Order Management and Coordination

Take and process customer orders accurately and coordinate with the backend team for timely dispatch.

Ensure stock visibility of fast-moving products and suggest reordering based on usage trends.

Coordinate with logistics or distribution teams for smooth and timely delivery.
5. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain daily visit reports, order details, sales activity logs, and customer records.

Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to the sales manager.

Track receivables and assist in follow-up on pending payments or overdue accounts.
6. Territory Management

Plan daily route maps and pharmacy visits to maximize productivity.

Monitor market trends, demand fluctuations, and customer buying behavior.

Ensure that assigned geographical coverage is managed efficiently.
7. Team Support and Collaboration

Collaborate with fellow sales executives and product specialists to meet common targets.

Share market feedback and insights during sales team meetings.

Participate in sales training, product launches, and team development activities.
