Roles and Responsibilities

1. Fix any compatibility issues that involve CSS, HTML and scripting between various platforms and browsers.

2. Test the website or application of a wide range of devices and browsers and address any issues that are identified.

3. PHP developers are also responsible to offer detailed descriptions of website specifications like product features, communication protocols, programming languages, functionalities, deadlines, etc.

4. You are also responsible to keep up with the latest programming practices and technologies via training sessions, relevant professional workshops, reading sessions, seminars and conferences.

5. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

6. Build, test and set up cutting-edge website applications in an efficient matter; work with other developers to fill data acquisition requirements

7. Identify and fix CSS, HTML and scripting compatibility issues between a variety of platforms and browsers; test websites on different browsers and mobile device browsers; correct problems identified by customer feedback

8. Collaborate and communicate with development teams and management to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, choose solutions or develop content criteria

9. Remain up to date about current programming practices and web technologies through reading, continuing education opportunities or participation in professional workshops, groups or conferences

10. Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Requirements

1. (1 to 2 years) experience

2. Hands-on knowledge of CI & Laravel - mandatory

3. Proficient in PHP, Javascript, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery, XML, CSS and HTML, GIT etc

4. The candidate will be preferred if having a working knowledge of
1. WordPress theme/plugin customization
2. WordPress plugin development
3. Angular or React or Node JS

5. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.

6. Proficient understanding of server-side scripting with PHP
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and developing web services

7. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc)

8. Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

9. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

10. Excellent written and oral communication skills

11. Familiar running an NGINX and Apache webserver
