Ability to design and implement WordPress Website from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface to finish deliverables.
Code and implement WordPress sites & templates from designing platforms such as Photoshop, GIMP etc. layout through HTML, CSS to a customised theme, and plugins
Excellent experience of implementation of new features, enhancements and content of existing websites.
Should have the ability to create and update the re-usable code libraries to streamline WordPress development cycle
Extensive experience of design interfaces and graphics for presentations and mobile-delivered responsive websites.
Ability to communicate with client for WordPress Training, Site Documentation and Maintenance.

Required Skills & Academics

Strong knowledge of Web Development Languages PHP 4.X / PHP 5.X, including HTML, CSS / CSS3, PHP, MySQL, LAMP / WAMP, Ajax, Jquery
Experience in common third-party APIs (google, FB, etc)
Design and create efficient RESTful endpoints for both internal and public consumption
Knowledge of Agile, Git, Github, AWS, etc.
Knowledge of other CMS & Framework like Drupal, Magento, Joomla, WooCommerce, Dolphin, Zend, Yii etc. will be an added advantage
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Familiarity with video for the web will be an added advantage
Experience with dynamic, geo-related, data-driven, and e-commerce sites a plus.
Familiarity with Web standards and usability.
Knowledge of working on PhoneGap will be an added advantage
Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues
Should have 6 Months - 3 Years of experience as WordPress Developer
Should be Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology
