Job Description
Job Overview:
A PHP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. They work on both frontend and backend development, ensuring websites and applications are functional, secure, and optimized for performance. PHP Developers often collaborate with designers, frontend developers, and database administrators to build dynamic and user-friendly websites.
- At least 1+ year of Experience in PHP.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and OOPS.
- CMS working knowledge like Wordpress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal, osCommerce, etc.
- Framework knowledge like Cake PHP, Codeigniter, Zend, Laravel, Yii, etc.
- Additional skill-sets of PHP, MySql, LAMP technologies, XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax.
- Experience on MVC framework.
- Candidates should be BSc or BTech graduate or have done MCA.
- Relevant software architecture and software development experience .
- Should have the ability to work as a team with the business owner, developers, and designers.
- Experience of working in a collaborative environment with Designers, Developers will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Development & Programming:
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP code.
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
- Integrate third-party APIs, web services, and plugins.
Database Management:
- Design and manage databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Optimize database queries for performance and security.
- Implement data backup and recovery solutions.
Frontend & Backend Integration:
- Work with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend components.
- Implement AJAX-based functionalities for interactive user experiences.
Security & Performance Optimization:
- Implement security measures to protect against vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
- Optimize website and application speed using caching, compression, and code optimization techniques.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Testing & Maintenance:
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.
- Fix bugs and improve application performance based on feedback.
- Keep up with PHP updates and new technologies to enhance applications.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to meet project goals.
- Maintain proper documentation of code and project development for future reference.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning.
