Job Description
Physical Design Engineer
- High level understanding of the overall design methodology from RTL2GDS
- Experience in developing, maintaining, optimizing synthesis and PnR flows with a focus on PPA.
- Experience in supporting customers
- Excellent scripting skills in at least 2 of the 3 - TCL, Python, Perl
- Demonstrated level of expertise in construction tools like DCG, Genus
- Demonstrated level of expertise in implementation tools like Innovus, ICC2, Fusion Compiler
- Understanding of semiconductor tech scaling and issues in deep submicron place and route.
- Good understanding of tools & flows used for low-power, formal, timing, physical verification
