Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Fitness Assessment & Program Design
-
Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate client health, posture, flexibility, strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness.

Understand client goals, lifestyle, medical history, and fitness level to design personalized training plans.

Develop safe, effective, and progressive exercise routines tailored to each client’s needs (e.g., weight loss, strength training, rehabilitation, sport-specific performance).

Modify programs as needed based on progress, limitations, or medical advice.
Training Sessions & Coaching
-
Instruct clients on proper exercise form, technique, and breathing to avoid injury and maximize results.

Demonstrate exercises and ensure clients perform them with correct posture and alignment.

Guide clients through warm-ups, workouts, cool-downs, and stretching routines.

Monitor progress and adjust workouts to maintain engagement and promote continuous improvement.

Provide motivation, support, and constructive feedback during training sessions.
Client Relationship Management

Build strong, trusting relationships with clients to understand their preferences and challenges.

Communicate effectively and professionally before, during, and after sessions.

Track and record client progress using tools such as fitness tracking apps or manual logs.

Provide education on general health, physical activity, injury prevention, and lifestyle habits.
Safety & Compliance

Ensure that the training area and equipment are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Follow safety procedures and emergency protocols when necessary.

Stay updated on the latest fitness guidelines, health protocols, and training techniques.

Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, and ethical standards in personal training.
Team Collaboration & Professional Development

Collaborate with other trainers, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and wellness professionals to offer holistic programs.

Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions to upgrade skills and knowledge.

Contribute to marketing efforts by participating in fitness events, seminars, or promotional activities.
