Job Title: Physiotherapist ( Home Care)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
-
Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, including muscle strength, range of motion, posture, balance, and flexibility.

Conduct comprehensive assessments through clinical observation, diagnostic tests, and medical history reviews.

Identify functional impairments, pain levels, and mobility restrictions.
2. Treatment Planning:
-
Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
-
Set short- and long-term rehabilitation goals in consultation with the patient and referring physician.
-
Adjust treatment strategies based on patient response and progress.
3. Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation:
-
Administer physical therapy interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, electrotherapy, ultrasound, and dry needling.

Provide gait training, balance therapy, posture correction, and mobility exercises.
-
Treat conditions related to orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and sports injuries.
4. Patient Education and Counseling:
-
Educate patients and caregivers about home exercise programs, ergonomics, posture, and injury prevention.
-
Motivate patients to participate actively in their recovery process.
-
Provide psychological support and encouragement during rehabilitation.
5. Documentation and Progress Monitoring:
-
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including initial evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports.

Track therapy outcomes and update treatment plans as needed.

Communicate progress with doctors, surgeons, and other medical staff.
6. Equipment and Safety:
-
Use physiotherapy equipment such as resistance bands, therapy balls, traction machines, TENS units, and ultrasound devices safely and effectively.

Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of therapy rooms and equipment.

Follow all infection control and hygiene protocols.
7. Coordination and Collaboration:
-
Work closely with orthopedic doctors, neurologists, surgeons, nurses, and occupational therapists for holistic patient care.

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and rehabilitation planning.
-
Refer patients to other healthcare specialists when necessary.
