Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Picking:
-
Read and understand order slips, invoices, or digital picking lists to determine items required for shipment.

Locate products in the warehouse using handheld scanners or manual records.

Accurately pick items in the correct quantity, color, size, or model number.
-
Handle fragile or sensitive items with care to avoid damage.
2. Packing and Labeling:
-
Pack products securely in boxes or containers based on the type and size of items.
-
Use appropriate packing materials such as bubble wrap, foam, or paper to prevent damage during transit.

Label packages accurately with shipping addresses, barcodes, and tracking information.
-
Ensure that packed goods meet the company’s quality and packaging standards.
3. Inventory Management Support:
-
Report discrepancies between picked items and inventory records to supervisors.
-
Perform basic stock checks and assist in cycle counts or annual inventory.
-
Replenish picking shelves with new stock as directed.
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned picking and packing zones.
4. Quality Control:
-
Inspect items before packing to ensure they are undamaged, clean, and meet quality expectations.
-
Verify correct items and quantities are picked and packed according to order specifications.
-
Report any defective or expired items to the warehouse supervisor.

Assist in returns processing and restocking as needed.
5. Shipping Preparation:
-
Weigh, seal, and prepare packages for dispatch using appropriate equipment.
-
Load completed orders onto shipping pallets or into delivery vans.
-
Assist with creating packing slips and documentation for outgoing shipments.

Coordinate with courier partners or logistics personnel for scheduled pickups.
6. Workplace Safety and Cleanliness:
-
Adhere strictly to warehouse safety policies and procedures.
-
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., trolleys, pallet jacks) safely and responsibly.

Wear protective gear such as gloves, masks, or safety shoes as required.
-
Keep workstations, shelves, and packing areas clean and free from hazards.
