Job Description
Job Summary:
We are hiring Picker Packer to support our warehouse and store operations team. The selected candidates will be responsible for performing picking, packing, scanning, and sorting tasks to ensure smooth movement of goods within the store or warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring that products are correctly selected, packed, labeled, and prepared for dispatch or internal storage.
The job requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. The position operates in rotational shifts—15 days night and 15 days day shift—and is open to male candidates only, as per store operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Picking:
-
Accurately locate and pick items from shelves, bins, or storage racks based on order slips or electronic picking systems.

Follow pick lists or barcode scanners to ensure correct item selection.
-
Handle goods carefully to prevent damage during picking.
-
Confirm quantity and product details before moving items to the packing area.
2. Packing:
-
Properly pack products using appropriate packaging materials (boxes, wraps, tapes, labels, etc.).

Ensure that the packed goods are secure and meet packaging standards.

Label packages with barcodes, shipping addresses, and other relevant details.

Stack and organize packed orders neatly for dispatch.
3. Scanning & Inventory Tracking:

Use barcode scanners or handheld devices to scan picked items and update inventory systems.

Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory movement in and out of the store.

Report any discrepancies in stock levels or damaged items to the supervisor immediately.

Assist during physical stock counting when required.
4. Sorting:

Sort items based on product type, size, location, or dispatch schedule.

Organize incoming and outgoing goods systematically in designated areas.

Re-arrange shelves or bins as per supervisor’s instructions to optimize storage space.
Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace at all times.

Follow all safety procedures, including the use of gloves, safety shoes, and masks (if applicable).

Cooperate with teammates to ensure timely completion of daily targets.

Assist in unloading and loading goods as and when required.

Comply with company rules, including shift timings, attendance, and hygiene standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 10th pass or equivalent education (preferred).

Prior experience in warehouse or logistics roles such as packing, scanning, or store keeping is a plus.

Freshers may also apply if willing to work in a store/warehouse setup with proper training.
Required Skills:
-
Basic reading and numerical skills to read invoices and count items.

Physical strength and ability to lift, move, and stack packages up to 15–25 kg.

Ability to operate barcode scanners and handheld tracking devices (training will be provided).

Team player with good work ethic and discipline.

Quick learner with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Shift Details:

Rotational Shifts: 15 Days Day Shift & 15 Days Night Shift (Fixed Schedule).
