Job Summary
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Picker Packer to join our warehouse team. The Picker Packer plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment by selecting the correct items (picking) and preparing them securely for shipment (packing).
This position requires good physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The Picker Packer helps maintain smooth warehouse operations, contributes to customer satisfaction, and supports overall supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order Picking

Receive and review picking lists or electronic orders accurately.

Locate products in the warehouse using inventory management systems or manual methods.

Pick items carefully, ensuring correct quantities, sizes, and product codes.

Handle products with care to avoid damage.
-
Report any discrepancies such as stock shortages, damaged goods, or labeling errors to supervisors.
2. Packing & Labeling
-
Pack items securely using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.

Weigh and measure packages to comply with shipping requirements.

Label packages correctly with destination addresses, barcodes, and other shipping information.

Seal boxes or containers properly using tape or strapping tools.

Ensure packed orders match the picking list and shipping instructions.
3. Quality Control

Inspect products for defects or damages before packing.

Verify order accuracy before dispatch to minimize errors and returns.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the packing area.

Follow company policies and quality standards throughout the packing process.
4. Inventory Support

Assist in stock counting and cycle counting activities as scheduled.

Organize warehouse shelves and storage areas for efficient retrieval.

Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and inform supervisors.

Participate in receiving and unloading goods when required.
5. Safety & Compliance
-
Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a safe working environment by keeping aisles and workspaces clear.

Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents immediately.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to picking and packing.
6. Team Collaboration

Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Communicate effectively with team members regarding order status and issues.

Help train new pickers or packers when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.

Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or order fulfillment is a plus but freshers can apply.

Ability to read and understand picking lists, barcodes, and labels.

Basic math skills to count, weigh, and measure products.
-
Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and lift packages up to 15-20 kg during shifts.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.

Team player with good communication skills.

Familiarity with warehouse management software or scanners is an advantage.
