Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Picking and Packing Orders
-
Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.

Use inventory management systems (e.g., barcode scanners, RFID) to locate and verify items.

Ensure that the correct quantity and quality of products are selected and packed for shipment.

Pack items in appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
-
Label and tag packages correctly for easy identification and shipping.
2. Quality Control
-
Inspect products for any damages or defects before packing and shipping.

Ensure that all items are properly packed to avoid damages during transport.

Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items to the supervisor.

Follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents in the warehouse.
3. Inventory Management
-
Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.

Report low stock levels to supervisors and assist in restocking products.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and stock areas.
4. Shipping and Receiving
-
Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed.

Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying that the correct items have arrived, and updating inventory records.

Ensure timely and accurate loading and unloading of packages and products from delivery trucks.
5. Warehouse Maintenance

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.

Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.

Ensure that warehouse tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
6. Documentation and Reporting

Keep accurate records of the items picked, packed, and shipped.

Assist in updating inventory management systems or maintaining manual records as required.

Ensure all paperwork related to orders, shipments, and inventory is properly completed.
