Position Overview:
A Picker / Packer – Loading & Unloading is responsible for efficient handling, packing, and movement of goods in a warehouse or logistics environment. The role involves picking items as per orders, packing them securely for dispatch, and assisting in loading and unloading goods for transportation. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, organized, and attentive to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Picking & Packing

Accurately pick products as per order sheets or digital instructions.

Pack items securely using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.

Label packages correctly and ensure all necessary documents are attached.
2. Loading & Unloading

Assist in loading goods onto delivery vehicles or transport carriers safely and efficiently.

Unload incoming shipments and verify against delivery notes or invoices.

Handle goods carefully to prevent damage or loss.
3. Inventory Management Support

Assist in maintaining organized warehouse shelves and storage areas.

Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items to supervisors.

Support regular stock audits and inventory checks.
4. Workplace Safety & Compliance

Follow safety protocols while handling heavy items, forklifts, or machinery.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.

Adhere to company guidelines and standard operating procedures.
5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain basic records of items picked, packed, loaded, or unloaded.

Communicate issues, delays, or discrepancies to warehouse supervisors promptly.
