Key Responsibilities
Picking and Packing:

Order Picking:
-
Accurately pick products from inventory using pick lists, barcodes, or other inventory systems.

Ensure the correct products, quantities, and specifications are selected according to order requirements.

Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to pick and transport products.

Order Packing:
-
Properly pack picked items in boxes or containers for safe transport to customers.
-
Ensure that products are securely packed to avoid damage during transit.

Label packages with appropriate shipping information, including addresses, barcodes, or tracking numbers.

Inventory Handling:

Assist in managing inventory levels by ensuring products are properly stored and recorded.

Replenish stock on shelves as necessary, ensuring that items are organized and easy to find.

Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

Material Handling:

Loading and Unloading:
-
Assist in unloading incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
-
Ensure that incoming products are received, checked, and stored properly in the warehouse.

Load products into shipping containers or trucks for delivery, ensuring items are secure and organized.

Organization and Storing:

Ensure that materials and products are placed in the correct locations within the warehouse.

Maintain an organized warehouse by categorizing and labeling materials, improving accessibility.

Rotate stock to ensure products are used in order of their arrival (FIFO: First In, First Out).

Material Handling Equipment:

Safely operate material handling equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks) to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.

Conduct routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Adhere to safety protocols when operating equipment to avoid accidents and injuries.

Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and shipping.

Report any damaged products or missing items to the supervisor and document any issues.
