The Job

In this role, you will be developing, supporting, maintaining and implementing a complex project module. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring and maintaining of databases in an organization.

You will also be responsible for :

Analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
Understanding business requirements, transforming it into business solutions and designing the database relational model
Performing data modelling and implementing the business rules using Oracle database objects
Defining source to target data mapping and data transformation logic as per the business need
Hands-on experience in development using SQL, PL/SQL
Performance tuning of SQL
Installing and upgrading the database server and application tools
Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for database system
Modifying the database structure as necessary, from information given by application developers verbally
Enrolling users and maintaining system security as well as controlling and monitoring user access to the database
Ensuring compliance with database vendor license agreement
Monitoring and optimising the performance of the database
Planning for backup and recovery of database information
Maintaining achieved data

The Profile

You have a Degree in Engineering, Technology or Computer Applications.
You have at least 3 years of Oracle Development experience in designing, implementing, supporting and analysing enterprise-scale applications.
You possess a strong understanding of various phases of SDLC.
You are highly experienced in database administration task including setup, backup and recovery, performance tuning, partitioning and auditing.
You have experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming for complex business needs as well as monitoring and troubleshooting production database. promptly.
You have proven experience in Data warehousing, Cluster and Mirror.
Having exposure to Database Operations in Cloud and experience in both Windows and AIX will be an added advantage
You have excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
You are highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments
You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
