Job Description
Plasterer
Applies plaster, stucco, or other materials to walls, ceilings, and partitions to create smooth or decorative surfaces in buildings and structures.
Job Summary:
A Plasterer is responsible for applying plaster and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces to create a smooth, durable base for painting or decorating. The role involves both new construction work and renovations.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, taping, or applying bonding agents.

Mix plaster ingredients and apply coats of plaster to interior and exterior walls and ceilings.

Use tools like trowels, floats, brushes, and mixers to ensure an even finish.

Apply decorative finishes such as cornices, coving, or textured patterns.

Repair and patch damaged plasterwork.

Follow safety standards and ensure job sites are clean after work completion.
Requirements:

Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding.

Good hand-eye coordination and physical fitness.

Familiarity with materials like cement, gypsum, and lime.

Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
