Job Description
Experience: 1 to 2yrs
Key Responsibilities:
1. PLC Programming and Design:

System Design: Develop and design PLC control systems for new equipment and processes, ensuring they meet operational requirements.

Programming: Write, modify, and debug PLC programs using standard PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.

Software Development: Create, test, and implement software programs for automated control systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and functional requirements.

Interface Development: Integrate PLC systems with Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) and other control systems for seamless operation and monitoring.
2. Testing and Debugging:

System Testing: Conduct thorough testing of PLC programs to ensure proper operation and adherence to functional and safety standards.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-related issues, including hardware failures, software bugs, and communication problems.

Optimization: Optimize existing PLC programs to improve system performance, increase efficiency, and reduce downtime.
3. Installation and Commissioning:

System Setup: Install and configure PLC hardware, including controllers, I/O devices, sensors, and actuators, in accordance with project specifications.

Commissioning: Participate in the commissioning process by testing systems, performing adjustments, and ensuring smooth operation.

System Integration: Collaborate with other engineers and teams to integrate PLC systems with other automation equipment, machinery, and networks.
4. Maintenance and Support:

System Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for PLC-controlled systems, ensuring continuous operation and minimal downtime.

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure that PLC systems operate optimally over the long term.

User Training: Provide training to operators and maintenance staff on the use of PLC systems and troubleshooting basic issues.
5. Documentation:

Program Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for PLC programs, system configurations, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Reports: Prepare reports on system performance, troubleshooting, maintenance schedules, and any modifications made to the control systems.

Compliance: Ensure that all systems and programs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
6. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and operations staff to understand system requirements, provide technical expertise, and support project execution.

Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to automate processes, reduce errors, and increase system reliability.

Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC technology, control systems, and automation to propose innovative solutions.
