Job Description
Deliver training sessions on PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta, or Mitsubishi)

Teach ladder logic, HMI, SCADA basics, and troubleshooting techniques

Prepare training materials, practical exercises, and project demonstrations

Provide hands-on lab sessions with real or simulated PLCs
-
Assess and track trainee progress through assignments and evaluations
-
Support the development of curriculum and training modules
-
Stay updated with the latest automation trends and tools
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery
-
Conduct training sessions on PLC programming, troubleshooting, and control systems based on course curriculum or client requirements.

Deliver lectures in an engaging, easy-to-understand format tailored for both beginners and advanced learners.

Offer hands-on practical training using actual PLC kits (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, Schneider, etc.).

Train students on SCADA, HMI, VFD, and other related automation systems (if applicable).

Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and instructional material in advance.
2. Course Design and Content Development

Assist in designing new course modules and updating existing content as per industry trends.

Prepare training manuals, worksheets, assignments, and test materials.

Develop mini-projects or simulations for students to apply learned concepts in real-world scenarios.
3. Lab and Equipment Management
-
Maintain PLC lab equipment, trainers, and software for uninterrupted sessions.

Assist in setting up and configuring new training kits, software licenses, and workstations.

Ensure the safety and security of all training devices and infrastructure.
4. Student Guidance and Support
-
Monitor trainee progress, provide feedback, and address learning difficulties.

Conduct assessments, tests, and practical evaluations to track student understanding.

Offer career advice or placement support (if part of an educational institute).
5. Industry and Curriculum Alignment

Stay updated on the latest industrial automation technologies, protocols, and programming techniques.

Suggest curriculum improvements based on industry practices and student feedback.

Build relationships with automation companies for guest sessions, live demos, or internship tie-ups.
Key Skills and Competencies

In-depth knowledge of PLC logic, ladder diagrams, and programming platforms (e.g., TIA Portal, RSLogix, CX-Programmer, etc.)

Good understanding of industrial automation workflows and field instruments

Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

Patience and clarity in explaining complex technical concepts to beginners

Strong troubleshooting and logical thinking skills
