Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities within the bond/debt market, including corporate issuers, institutional investors, and intermediaries.
- Support senior team members in client acquisition, deal pipeline tracking, and relationship management.
- Prepare and customize pitch decks, market research reports, and presentations for potential clients.
- Conduct preliminary market analysis and help monitor developments in the fixed income space (interest rates, yields, credit spreads, regulatory news, etc.).
- Coordinate meetings, demos, and follow-ups with prospective clients.
- Maintain and update CRM systems and track engagement metrics.
- Assist in organizing events, webinars, and conferences to promote services and engage with industry stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in a business development, sales support, financial research, or capital market’s role (internships count!).
- Basic understanding of debt instruments, such as corporate bonds, sovereign bonds, and other fixed income products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to speak confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualities:
- Interest in building a career in capital markets, especially in debt/fixed income.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for client interaction.
- Team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
