Post Doctoral Fellow job recruitment in Indian Institute of Astrophysics

Qualification: PhD in observational astronomy with good academic record. Candidates who have submitted their thesis in a reputed university may be considered for interview. Research experience in optical/NIR observational astronomy and skills in computer programming for data analysis are essential. Experience in handling large data sets and spectral energy distribution (SED) analysis are desirable.

Fellowship of : Rs 47,000 p.m for a fresh PhD. Rs. 49,000 pm for those with a minimum of 1-2 years of post-doctoral experience. Rs. 54,000 pm for those with more than two years experience. Plus HRA as applicable rates for Bangalore City. Medical facilities for self only.
