Name of the Post : Post-doctoral Research Associate (PDRA)/ Number of posts 01 (One)
Minimum educational Qualifications Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics or any other relevant discipline.
Candidates who have submitted thesis may also apply. Funding Agency Science & Engineering Research Board under Ramanujan
Preference Candidates having knowledge in Quantum filed theory, gravity, black hole physics, Gauge / Gravity duality will be preferred. Job requirement Understanding Quantum Field theory at strong Coupling using various techniques such as duality, bootstrapping. Tenure of the appointment Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project
Consolidated emoluments 1) Rs. 50,000/- per month
2) Candidates who have submitted their thesis but not completed defence (i.e. candidates without a provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be designated as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and paid Rs. 35,000/- till the time of submission of Provisional Ph.D. certificate.
Age PDRA: Not more than 35 years as on last date of application SRF: Not more than 32 years as on last date of application
