Job Description

Power BI Developer
  • Knowledge and experience in Power BI, Power Query and DAX is must
  • Knowledge of one Database and SQL Scripting is must
  • Azure Analysis Services (AAS)/SSAS Tabular is a must
  • Strong Hands-on experience in DAX Query
  • Strong in Data Modelling concepts
  • Worked with Data procurement strategies - DB, Cached/import mode (applications, features and drawbacks)
  • Configure/integrate security both at Power BI tool and DB level respectively
  • Performance tuning (pushdown logic, calculated columns and measures, data loading strategies, filtering data, variables)
  • Development of visualizations (Bar Chart, Line Chart, Scatter Plot, bookmarks, report interfaces, themes) and storytelling abilities
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies - Azure Synapse is preferred
  • Experience setting up data connections, mobility, writing functions and using advanced features like ESRI, NLP, scripting, R & python etc. is preferred
  • Knowledge of Power BI deployment pipelines
