Field Engineer (Electrical)

Fee : Fees for post ID 01 & 02 ( Field Engineers)- Rs.300/- Fees for Post ID 03 & 04 ( Field Supervisor)- Rs.200/-. Candidate shall fill up the online application form and on submission of the same, a resume and bank challan having unique POWERGRID Registration ID will be generated. The candidate shall retain the hard copy of application or resume. After 2 bank working d ays of generation of challan, candidate can approach any branch of SBI with the challan for depositing the fees. Candidate will have to deposit prescribed application fees + bank charges of Rs. 60/- to SBI. Candidate is not required to send any hard copy of application/ challan receipt unless asked for it. Candidates who fail to deposit the fees (application fees + bank charges) by 05.05.2016, their candidature shall be rejected without further correspondence. The Fees shall not be refunded under any circumstances. SC/ST/PwD/ Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee

Selection Process : For Post ID 01 & 02 1. Selection process for post ID 01 & 02 will involve Personal interview of the eligible candidates. However, in case of large number of applications, an objective type screening test may also be conducted, if required but the same shall be for elimination purpose only and shall not have any weightage in final merit which shall be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the personal interview. To be adjudged suitable for empanelment for engagement, the qualifying marks in Interview shall be 40% for unreserved category & 30% for SC/OBC (NCL)/PwD. For Post ID 03 & 04  2. Selection process for post ID 03 & 04 will involve Objective type written test of 1 hour duration. The candidates shall be issued offers of appointment based on their performance in the written test. The qualifying marks in written test shall be 40% for unreserved category & 30% for SC/OBC (NCL)/PwD.The details of modus operandi of the written test shall be intimated separately. General- 3. The Offers of Appointment shall be issued to the suitable candidates on the basis of merit and based on requirement. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their medical fitness as per the company’s prescribed standards. Applicants should have sound health. Squint and Color Blindness (partial or full) is a disqualification. No relaxation in POWERGRID Medical Norms (available on POWERGRID website) is allowed. 4. The Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria and /or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview, if so required.
