Description:
We are looking for a motivated PPC Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with a diploma or graduation in any stream to kick-start their career in production planning and control (PPC).
Key Duties:
- Assist in daily production planning tasks.
- Coordinate with different departments for material and process flow.
- Maintain and update production records.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning Support:

Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory availability, and production capacity.

Collaborate with the production team to update job schedules and prioritize work orders.

Coordinate with the sales, purchase, and stores departments to understand demand and material availability.

Maintain and update planning charts, work-in-progress (WIP) reports, and production timelines.
2. Monitoring Production Activities:
-
Track the status of ongoing production activities and report any delays or deviations from the plan.

Follow up with shop floor supervisors to collect updates on daily output and productivity.

Ensure that raw materials, tools, and other inputs are available as per the production schedule.

Assist in identifying bottlenecks and suggesting corrective actions.
3. Inventory and Material Management:

Maintain accurate records of raw material usage, finished goods, and WIP inventory.

Help in issuing and tracking material requisitions and returns to the store.

Coordinate with the stores and purchase departments to ensure timely availability of required materials.

Assist in inventory audits and cycle counting activities.
4. Documentation and Record Keeping:

Prepare and maintain production-related documents such as job cards, process sheets, routing slips, and work orders.

Update ERP or planning software with current production status, material consumption, and delivery updates.

Maintain filing systems for production records, drawings, reports, and correspondence.

Generate daily and weekly reports on production performance, resource utilization, and deviations.
5. Quality and Compliance Support:

Assist in ensuring that quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Coordinate with the quality control team for inspection reports and corrective actions.

Help ensure that production activities comply with internal SOPs and safety regulations.
6. Coordination and Communication:

Act as a liaison between the planning department and production, purchase, quality, and dispatch departments.

Help resolve scheduling conflicts or resource shortages through effective communication.

Notify relevant departments of any changes in schedule or priority.
