Provisional admission to the Pre-Ph.D. Programme for the session 2018-2019

Eligibility :  Candidates who have passed the PG examination in the concerned /allied subject with 55% marks or above /B Grade in the seven point scale or above (50% marks for SC/ST) and those who have appeared the qualifying examination and waiting for results are eligible to apply for provisional admission into Pre-Ph.D. Programme. The number of vacancies will be determined at the time of provisional registration. Only those candidates who successfully complete the Pre-Ph.D. course work with a minimum of B Grade in the 7-point scale will be eligible for registration to the Ph.D. programme. University Fellowships, wherever applicable, will be given with effect from the date of Ph.D. Registration.

Application Fee :  Prescribed application form will be available in the Cash Counter on payment of Rs. 500/- for General and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/PWD only in the cash upto 1.30 p.m. on all working days or by sending a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- or Rs. 300/- only drawn in favour of the Registrar, Manipur University, Imphal — 795003 payable at the SBI, MU Campus Branch (Code No. 5320) along with a self addressed envelope of 28cmx 15cm with postal stamp worth Rs. 5.00/-. Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PWD shall be made as per the norms of the Government of India.
