Job Position: Pre-Primary Teacher - Grade Nur - 1st
Pay: 7,000 to 9,000
Job Location: Amar Jyoti Group of Schools & Junior College, Bhayandar East
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
- Ability to communicate with young children at their level.
- Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition.
- ECC.ED/BA/B.ED or any relevant degree; MA/M. Ed is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Planning & Delivery:
-
Design and implement creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans for children in Nursery to Grade 1.

Integrate multiple areas of learning such as language, math, motor skills, social development, and environmental awareness through hands-on activities and play.

Use storytelling, games, music, and art to stimulate children's interest and imagination.
Child Development & Classroom Management:
-
Observe and assess each child’s individual progress, strengths, and needs.

Foster social-emotional learning, including self-regulation, empathy, and cooperation among students.

Ensure a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and inclusion.

Guide children through routines such as snack time, restroom breaks, rest time, and transitions between activities.
Assessment & Documentation:

Conduct informal and formal assessments to monitor and document student learning and development.

Prepare progress reports and communicate observations regularly to parents and school leadership.

Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, learning activities, and behavioral notes.
Parent Communication & Collaboration:
-
Establish and maintain positive, respectful communication with parents or guardians.

Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and school events.

Share learning updates, classroom news, and home activities to encourage parental involvement.
Professionalism & Teamwork:

Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and support staff to implement classroom activities effectively.

Participate in professional development workshops, in-service training, and school improvement initiatives.

Follow school policies, procedures, and ethical standards related to child safety and confidentiality.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Pre-Primary Education, or a related field.

Previous experience teaching or assisting in a pre-primary or early grades classroom (Nur – Grade 1).

Strong understanding of child psychology and early learning principles.

Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Creativity, patience, and sensitivity when engaging with young learners.
