Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Pre Sales Executive to support the sales team in converting prospects into customers by providing product expertise, understanding client needs, and delivering customized solutions. The Pre-Sales Executive acts as a bridge between the technical and sales teams, playing a crucial role in identifying client requirements and matching them with the right solution offering.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, problem-solving, and technical understanding skills. Prior experience in sales support, business development, or solution consulting is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Needs Analysis:

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges, objectives, and requirements.

  • Conduct preliminary discussions to assess the fit of the product or service with the client’s needs.

  • Identify client pain points and suggest relevant features, solutions, or services to address them.

Solution Design and Proposal Support:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, technical) to design and propose solutions tailored to customer requirements.

  • Prepare customized presentations, proposals, product demos, and proof of concepts (PoCs).

  • Translate technical details into business benefits in a clear, concise manner for client presentations.

  • Draft responses for RFPs, RFIs, and tenders when required.

Product Demonstration and Technical Assistance:

  • Conduct live or virtual product demos for prospective customers, clearly explaining features, benefits, and use cases.

  • Address pre-sales technical queries and ensure customers are well-informed prior to purchase decisions.

  • Support sales representatives in meetings by offering technical explanations and product walkthroughs.

Sales Enablement and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the sales team to define go-to-market strategies and support lead qualification.

  • Share insights from client interactions to enhance product positioning and improve marketing communication.

  • Coordinate with the product, operations, and engineering teams to align customer expectations with deliverables.

Market Research and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and evolving customer needs.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the company’s offerings, features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

  • Suggest improvements to offerings or communication strategies based on customer feedback and market analysis.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, pre-sales activities, and follow-up plans using CRM tools.

  • Track performance metrics such as demo-to-conversion rate, proposal success rate, and feedback quality.

  • Prepare regular reports and summaries for internal stakeholders to monitor pre-sales efficiency.
