Job Overview

A Presales Executive plays a crucial role in the sales process by assisting the sales team with lead qualification, proposal preparation, and product demonstrations. The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting suitable solutions, and supporting the sales team in closing deals.

Identify potential customers who might benefit from the product or service 
Create proposals that address customer needs and challenges 
Create and deliver presentations to potential customers
Use critical thinking to solve unique challenges presented by clients  
Work with the sales team, technical team, and clients

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Qualification & Initial Engagement

  • Identify and assess potential leads based on market research and customer requirements.
  • Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Understand client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.

2. Product Presentation & Proposal Creation

  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and webinars for potential clients.
  • Assist in preparing customized proposals, sales decks, and case studies.
  • Work closely with the sales team to address client concerns and objections.

3. Market & Competitor Research

  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior.
  • Suggest improvements in product positioning and sales strategies.
  • Maintain a database of potential clients and sales opportunities.

4. Sales Support & Documentation

  • Assist in preparing RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFQs (Request for Quotations), and sales contracts.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales materials and customer presentations.
  • Track and report presales activities and conversion rates.
