6. Essential educational qualifications & experience: Ph.D. in any science subject in the area of Bioinformatics or Computational biology followed by 03 years experience in the relevant area.

7. Desirable: Experience in the following areas with high impact publications: (a) high-throughput genome analysis, (b) genome assembly annotations, (c) comparative genomics, (d) NGS information analysis, (e) Big Data Analysis

8. Job specification: The chosen candidates will have to work independently as well as a team member in and outside the institute, in the desired areas. He has to be a good team player.

The National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) - is amongst one of the constituent national research laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. Originally set up as the National Botanic Gardens (NBG) by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.), it was taken over by the CSIR in 1953.
