Experience Required: Fresher (US process)
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (Sales, Marketing preferred)

Key Responsibilities
Transport Vendor Coordination

Liaise with third-party logistics providers and transport vendors to schedule container pickups, movements, and deliveries.

Ensure timely dispatch of containers by confirming transport availability, route feasibility, and required documentation.

Track shipments and proactively follow up with transport partners to avoid delays.

Validate and reconcile vendor invoices, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and service records.

Escalate service failures or delays to relevant internal stakeholders for swift resolution.
Internal Team Collaboration

Work closely with warehouse, shipping, customer service, and documentation teams to synchronize container movement schedules.

Share transport updates and ETAs with operations and inventory teams to plan accordingly.

Support internal logistics planning and help optimize container utilization and turnaround time.

Participate in daily coordination calls or stand-up meetings to provide status updates and flag potential issues.
Client Communication

Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding the status of their shipments and movement schedules.

Proactively update clients on delivery timelines, changes, or exceptions in container movement.

Respond to client inquiries, resolve logistics-related concerns, and ensure service quality standards are met.

Maintain accurate communication records, emails, and documentation for accountability and transparency.
Documentation & Reporting

Ensure accurate and timely documentation of shipment details including booking numbers, container numbers, dispatch orders, delivery notes, etc.

Maintain updated records in logistics systems or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS).

Generate daily or weekly reports on container status, delivery performance, and issue logs.

Support audits and compliance requirements by maintaining proper filing and data accuracy.
Process Improvement

Identify recurring issues in container movement processes and propose solutions to reduce delays or inefficiencies.

Assist in developing SOPs and checklists for logistics coordination and vendor management.

Support projects or initiatives aimed at improving overall logistics performance and client experience.
