Alfa Laval IndiaâŻis looking for a Process Engineer to be based out of Pune location. This position is being created to engineer process solutions for Brewery related projects with low to medium complexity for a single/ limited applications as well as to keep and develop process technology know-how on low to medium level.

About The Job

The scope of the role to include below responsibilities:

Drawing & document schedule.
Designing and engineering products and solutions based on customer requests and applicable standards & codes.
Process calculations, Sizing & selection of process equipmentâs, Setting up VMS & pipe specifications, Finalizing P&ID & BOM, Defining technical specifications for process items & Creating URS.
Detail costing and Pre-Bid support to Sales Company
Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement of specific items related to the project.
Commissioning of plant/ systems.
Delivering and driving an improvement of current technical solutions and / or developing new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage.
Execute engineering activities considering quality & cost.
Participate in project meetings and manage smaller projects.
Performance testing and troubleshooting for deliveries and new processes.
Attend meetings with customer, consultants and external suppliers.

What you can be?

Minimum 5 years of experience in process & engineering design & commissioning of Brewery plants

Chemical engineer having relevant experience in design engineering & Project Management

Shall have good knowledge of Brewery process.

Good knowledge of engineering codes & standards related to Process industries.

Practical experience with process engineering & design (P&ID, Mass balance, Layout) for Brewery plants/ applications.
