Job Description
v Correspond with applicants via phone, email and in person to collect and analyze insurance information that facilitates the risk assessment process and provides underwriting support
v Document and communicate policy approvals or rejections to the underwriting team, insurance agents, supervisors, and clients in a timely manner
v Compile data and analytics for reports that can advise insurance policy guidelines and whether coverage should be provided
v Serve as the liaison for underwriters and customers in order to track, manage, and prioritize insurance applications and other services
v Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within underwriting software programs by verifying all documents for accuracy and completion in order to provide sound policy recommendations to prospective and existing customers
