Job Description
.Job Objective :-
Sr.Engineer Sourcing -Direct material -BOM item procurement
2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-
1 Schedule the supply of material to meet production requirements.
2 Day to day order / follow up - material planning.
3 Maintain minimum safety stock level.
4 Co-ordination with production and suppliers.
5 Monitor inventory levels.
6 Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues.
7 Evaluating supplier ratting.
8 PO creation, PR to PO generation.
9 Follow up with internal departments regarding material planning / orders / quality issues.
10 Knowledge of engineering drawing/product/process like sheet metal ,plastic molding and rubber molding.
11 Costing of BOM items.
12 Alternate supplier development, item development.
13 Basic knowledge of 5S, Kaizen.
3.Qualification & Experience Required :-
DME/BE Mechanical /Production/Auto having experience of 5 - 9 years.
4.Personal Characteristic :-
Good in communication ,Planning ,coordinating with supplier , analysis skill ,self driven ,motivated ,good team player.
