Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Sourcing: Researching and interviewing vendors, and evaluating prospective suppliers
  • Purchasing: Preparing purchase orders, receiving orders, and tracking and recording orders
  • Negotiating: Negotiating contracts and costs with vendors
  • Analyzing: Analyzing market and delivery systems, and preparing cost analyses and reports
  • Managing: Managing inventory, and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
  • Communicating: Communicating with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers
  • Improving: Recommending new processes or systems for improvement, and implementing new ideas and strategies
