Role Overview:As Procurement Head you will lead the strategic sourcing and procurement function for SSG’s Food & Beverage import/export and manufacturing operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring uninterrupted supply, optimising cost, managing global supplier networks and aligning sourcing strategies to business growth and global market demands.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop and implement robust procurement strategies tailored to import/export and manufacturing operations in the F&B domain.

Lead vendor selection, negotiation and contract management with global suppliers, ensuring best terms for quality, delivery and cost.

Drive continuous improvement in procurement spend, cost savings, supplier performance and supply-chain efficiency across categories.

Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, export/import compliance, and finance teams to ensure seamless edge-to-edge supply operations.

Monitor procurement KPIs, perform spend analytics, risk assessments, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Stay updated on market trends, commodity pricing, global sourcing opportunities and regulatory changes (customs, import/export, duty, tariffs).

Establish procurement policies, standard operating procedures and best practices in alignment with SSG’s vision of quality and innovation.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or related field; MBA preferred.

5 to 10 years of experience in procurement / sourcing / supply chain roles — preferably in import/export, FMCG, food & beverage manufacturing or global sourcing environments.

Proven track record of strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, global vendor management, contract negotiation.

Strong proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel), ERP / procurement systems and data analytics.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.

Strategic mindset with analytical decision-making and business acumen.

Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.

Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced global environment with multiple priorities.
