Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Executive

Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate

Location: As per project site / Head Office

Experience: 1–3 years

Job Summary

We are looking for a Procurement professional with experience in the construction industry to manage sourcing, vendor negotiation, purchasing, and timely availability of materials for projects. The role ensures cost control, quality compliance, and smooth coordination with project, store, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

Source and procure construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, MEP items, finishing materials, etc.)

Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR), RFQs, and Purchase Orders (PO)

Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project schedules

Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock

Vendor Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and subcontractors

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts

Maintain strong relationships with vendors for long-term collaboration

Periodically review vendor performance (cost, quality, delivery)

Cost Control & Compliance

Ensure procurement within approved budgets

Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements

Follow company procurement policies and approval processes

Ensure materials meet quality standards and project specifications

Coordination & Documentation
