A new high-volume retail outlet is launching in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, and we are looking for an aggressive, analytical & commercially strong Procurement Manager / Category Manager to build and lead sourcing & supply chain operations from the ground up.

 JOB DETAILS

Position: Procurement Manager / Category Manager
 Location: Maripur Chowk, Muzaffarpur, Bihar
 Work Mode: On-site
 Experience: 3–7 Years
 Industry: Retail / FMCG / Consumer Goods
 Salary: Competitive package as per regional market standards

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Vendor onboarding & supplier development
 Aggressive price negotiation & commercial negotiations
 SKU management & assortment planning
 Procurement planning & sourcing strategy
 Inventory & supply chain optimization
 Improve purchasing efficiency and gross profit margins
 Build strong relationships with distributors & suppliers

 REQUIREMENTS

 Strong local distributor/vendor network in Bihar
 3–7 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience
 Excellent knowledge of Retail Inventory & ERP Systems
 Strong commercial & analytical skills
 Sharp understanding of pricing, margins & profitability
 Ability to independently build procurement operations from scratch
