Procurement Specialist Job in For a Client of TeamLease Digital at Bangalore

Role: Procurement buyer (External)
Objectives of job:
• Candidate should have preliminary experience in procurement of goods and services/indirect
procurement/capital goods.
• Experience in procurement of IT/Engineering Services, IT Hardware, software, facility services,
Lab equipment would be added advantage
• Supporting buyers in tactical buying, floating RPQ’s, creation of Purchase Orders.
• Exposure to Commodity specific supplier base and understanding of supplier selection criteria
• Strong documentation acumen, basic to moderate Negotiations skills
• To ensure that all goods & services are purchased for the organization achieving the objectives:
Best value; In-time Delivery; Minimized investment
• Adhere to Global Procurement policies
• Alignment of procurement activities with user departments and managing stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Education: Commerce graduate/Post-graduate/MBA
• No of Years: 10 years
• Experience: Purchase, Negotiation, Process knowledge, Supplier interactions
• Specific Knowledge: (Skill / Languages etc.)
Strong communication skills , excel + power-point skills, stakeholder management
Main Task Description
• Sourcing Strategy:
Analyzing procurement offers and suggest methods to decrease expenditure. Supporting buyers
in generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies. Derive
strategies through Spend Management, ABC analysis, Pareto Analysis
• Supplier Landscape: Continuously screen the domestic market preparing comprehensive
supplier landscape and ensure compliance aspects adhered and monitored
• RFQ Management:
RFQ preparation and processing with shortlisted vendors. Obtaining competitive offers and
evaluating the offers various techno commercial parameters. Collaborate with stakeholders to
ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Negotiation with suppliers
Supporting buyers in finalizing the negotiation strategy and negotiation design. Negotiate with
the suppliers and achieve the target cost. Selecting the supplier based on comprehensive
evaluation of the offers in terms of best in class price, delivery and quality. Experience in using
various price plausibility tools like: Price breakdown, Bottom up cost calculation, Open Book
Calculation & Linear Price Performance.
• Purchase Orders
Generating sourcing recommendations and creation of Purchase Orders and contracts.
Negotiating with the suppliers for agreement on legal and commercial terms and conditions. Job
also involved creation and finalization of maters service agreement and procurement agreements
with the suppliers.
