Product Analyst

Chennai | Bangalore, 3-5 years

Responsibilities:

  • Work autonomously with UX designers to synthesize complex product/design questions into actionable research plans
  • Articulate and roll out those research plans in collaboration with UX designers, product managers and other stakeholders
  • Present findings and recommendations for next steps -- whether they're product/design decisions or further research
  • Conduct qualitative user interviews and tests
  • Conduct quantitative research to explain and validate findings
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis, identify industry standards and trends
  • Develop user profiles, personas, core user scenarios, and journey maps.
  • Stay up-to-date with and display knowledge of market trends and best practices
  • Responsible for defining, developing and communicating key metrics and business trends to partner and management teams
  • You will be performing various analysis (gap, competitive on technology and content).
  • You will track & report product KPIs and produce impactful reports on KPIs highlighting progress and pro-actively identify issues / improvement areas.
  • You will be generating Hypothesis & validation and Lead decision-making for validation / rejection of hypothesis
  • You will be Driving actionable insights of user behaviors, cultural impact for user messaging/ communications/ emotions, UX, features
  • You will be on top of all user feedback coming through multiple channels on a regular basis and participate in user research to develop an understanding of user behavior, pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead data-driven strategy by collaborating with peers and stakeholders across global markets to gather user insights & product requirements
  • Conduct human phycology on user behaviors for various culture and seasonal to collaborate with the creative (Art) team in creating animations
  • Drive the conception, design and execution of A/B tests to optimize conversion rate and improve the usability
  • In conjunction with Marketing Analyst, analyze metrics, customer research, and related data to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to inform and drive the consumer experience across interactive B2C platforms
  • Conduct gap analysis of product (Augray and TaDaTime) and take part in creating the USP.

Skills:
  • BA/BS or advanced degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, or related field (or similar college level education).
  • Experience in designing and conducting user research and informing product and design decisions with research outcomes.
  • Ability to wireframe and articulate design recommendations based on research outcomes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of various research methods and evaluation techniques.
  • Knowledge of quantitative research and analysis.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • High level of empathy; ability of to relate to users from various perspectives.
  • Ability to provide unbiased voice-of-the-customer feedback based on their research findings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with running surveys and user tests using UserTesting.com.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - ability to develop hypotheses, understand and interpret data within the context of the product / business - solve problems and distil data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently work with cross-functional teams across the globe and to present information to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong number crunching, AI (Data Science) and quantitative skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good experience in using various Mobile growth/ marketing tools.
  • Experince in one or more of (Business analytics tools & statistical programming languages – SQL, NoSQL tools, R, SAS, SPSS, Tableau).
  • Previous experience of 2-3 years working in a mobile/gaming product company in an analytics role as a strong team player.
  • Work with product, technology and business teams to drive complex data and trend analyses to root cause issues and propose ways to improve platform.
  • Work with the stakeholders to take data driven decision.
  • Developing UI design requirements is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of any agile methodology is preferable.
