Job Description
Hiring Product Design Engineer
Responsibilities:-
● Vendor interaction and working with Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Test labs
● Assure quality of execution and attention to detail at every level of the Product Design Development
● Participate in the end-to-end Product Development from research and early concept exploration to product execution and launch
● Create 3D CAD from concept sketches of Industrial Design to Engineering and Prototyping
● BOM creation and 2D Inspection drawings
Qualifications:-
● Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Product design (or equivalent) with 1-3 years of work experience
● Working with off the shelf part selection and cost analysis
● Knowledge of design for manufacturing and assembly
● Knowledge of environmental part testing and functionality testing compliance to certification of products
● Good communication skills (visual, verbal, and written)
● Knowledge of Materials, Finishing processes, and Rapid prototyping processes
● Excellent 3D modeling and surfacing skills in Creo and Solidworks
● Excellent 2D drawings, dimensioning with tolerance, and stack up analysis
● Plastic tooling, Sheetmetal, and Die Casting part tooling manufacturing know-how
