Product Development Job in Flipspaces at Mumbai

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop new products or improve existing products so that the company can meet customers' needs more effectively
2. Manage the product development and improvement process from conception through to completion
3. Visit different manufacturing facilities to test and understand their manufacturing
4. Fabricate prototypes for testing
5. Create and introduce new/improved products, proving and testing both internally and externally and collaborate with technical, suppliers, and manufacturing specialists
6. Choose appropriate manufacturing methods, processes, and techniques to produce new or existing products
7. Collate costing information and present this in a comprehensive format (bill of materials) or zero based costing

Requirements:

1. Excellent attention to detail
2. Love for product research and development
3. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols
4. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
5. Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback
6. Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts
7. Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
8. Creative problem-solving skills
9. Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences
