Job Description
Product Manager (Software)
Specific Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the overall product roadmap by familiarizing yourself with the product line’s components and its potential impact on the market across all platforms – web, tablet apps — after careful consideration of the needs of internal and external parties
- Lead development of new product offerings by conducting market research, user surveys, and the like to understand where and how we can satisfy unmet customer needs
- Employ a range of qualitative (user discovery research, focus groups, usability studies, etc.) and quantitative (surveys, analytics, market research, etc.) methods to better understand our users’ needs. Evaluate market competition and position the product line so that it appeals to the customer.
- Manage the product development process from conception, roadmap through design, build, release, analysis and iteration. Anticipate problems.
- Be a critical voice of the users within Asteria Aerospace. Ensure we are doing everything we can to help users be more effective and contribute to their bottom line Be Data Driven
- Conduct A/B tests to understand how we can increase the desired use case(s) of our products
Qualifications: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, business, marketing, etc. and MBA preferred. A technical background is highly preferred
Relevant Experience: 4-6 years
