Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Process Management:

Oversee daily manufacturing processes, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively in line with production schedules.

Coordinate with production teams, including supervisors, operators, and other engineers, to maintain smooth production workflows.

Identify areas of improvement in the production process, such as bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or quality issues, and take corrective action.
2. Process Optimization and Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes and workflows to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline operations and reduce operational costs.

Work closely with R&D and quality assurance teams to integrate new technologies or techniques that can improve manufacturing efficiency.
3. Quality Control and Compliance:

Ensure the manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company-specific quality control procedures.

Monitor product quality during all stages of the production process, implementing necessary checks and adjustments to maintain high standards.

Work with the quality control team to resolve any product defects or non-conformance issues that arise.
4. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or process-related problems in manufacturing equipment and systems, minimizing downtime.

Use problem-solving skills and analytical tools (e.g., root cause analysis) to quickly address production disruptions or quality issues.

Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical support to production teams to keep equipment running at optimal levels.
5. Resource Management:

Plan and coordinate the use of resources, including manpower, materials, and machinery, to meet production targets and deadlines.

Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.

Manage production schedules, including shifts, downtime, and machine maintenance, to optimize resource utilization.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect and analyze production data (e.g., yield, downtime, throughput) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Prepare regular reports on production performance, including any deviations from planned schedules, cost analysis, and quality metrics.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management for decision-making and future process improvements.
7. Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards:

Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with workplace health and safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.

8. Staff Training and Development:
