Job Description

Production Supervisor

Department: Production
Reports To: Production Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.

  • Ensure production is carried out as per the production plan and quality requirements.

  • Monitor manpower, machine utilization, and productivity.

  • Ensure adherence to process parameters, SOPs, and work instructions.

  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Stores for smooth operations.

  • Monitor rejection, rework, scrap, and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and IATF 16949 requirements.

  • Maintain production records and prepare daily shift reports.

  • Train and guide operators to improve performance and quality.

  • Promote continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
