Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Operation
-
Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Start, stop, and monitor machines during the production cycle to ensure smooth operation.
-
Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and output specifications.
-
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
2. Production Processes
-
Follow work instructions and production schedules to meet daily output targets.
-
Load raw materials or components into machines and unload finished products.
-
Assemble, label, or pack products as per company and customer requirements.
-
Ensure proper alignment, sizing, and finish of the products at every stage of processing.
3. Quality Control
-
Conduct in-process checks for product defects, measurements, and visual inspections.

Separate defective items and report quality concerns to the supervisor or quality team.

Maintain records of inspections and production outputs.
-
Follow standard quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
4. Safety and Housekeeping
-
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
-
Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
-
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
-
Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required.
5. Documentation and Reporting
-
Record production data such as quantities produced, rejected items, and machine downtime.

Fill out job sheets, logbooks, or system entries as per company requirements.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions.

Follow shift schedules and maintain punctuality and attendance standards.
6. Maintenance Support (if applicable)

Perform routine checks and minor maintenance like oiling, cleaning, and part replacements.

Support preventive maintenance schedules and machine calibration activities.

Report equipment breakdowns or delays promptly to reduce production downtime.
