Job Description

Job Summary: The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the polyester resin manufacturing process, ensuring production goals are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards. The role involves supervising production teams, managing resources, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in B.sc Chemistry/ Diploma , 2 – 5 yrs experience in any chemical manufacturing company.

Special preference for past experience from polyester resin manufacturing, Phenolic resin manufacturing, and paint manufacturing or a related field (preferred).

Familiarity with production equipment, machinery, and manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth workflow.
Assign tasks to workers and monitor productivity.
Ensure production schedules are met within deadlines and budgets.
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Quality Control & Compliance

Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions for defects.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Keep records of production data, quality reports, and safety checks.

Team Leadership & Training

Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Promote teamwork and a safe working environment.

Equipment & Inventory Management

Oversee the maintenance and proper use of machinery and tools.
Coordinate repairs and minimize equipment downtime.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with supply chain teams.

Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance production efficiency.
Work closely with other departments, such as quality assurance and logistics, to improve overall operations.
